Notice of Annual General Meeting
For 2021 we are planning on a physical Annual General Meeting again, but should circumstances dictate we may need to change this.
This year’s CCRC Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 13th November and we need members to confirm whether they are able to attend or not. See below.
The AGM will be at Eames Farm, Thorney Road, Emsworth, PO10 8DE. This is a meeting room provided by Chichester Harbour Conservancy. It is on the right about half a mile before the Thorney Island Army checkpoint. There is parking in the lane past the meeting room.
Please arrive from 1100am for coffee for a prompt 1130 am start.
As usual there will be the formal meeting and then informal discussion of various topics. The agenda is attached together with the minutes from last year’s AGM. Information regarding the election of Officers will be provided closer to the time.
Trophies
Please remember to ensure the trophies you hold have been engraved and that you bring them to the AGM ready polished. If you are not attending the AGM please contact Pam or myself to plan to pass it to us.
Prize Giving
In view of the ongoing COVID situation it is the committee’s view that we should hold a prize-giving lunch as a follow-on to the AGM rather than as a separate dinner. Members wishing to stay on for the prize-giving may book places where there will be a lunch to include salmon, coronation chicken and salads plus a couple of glasses of wine in a convivial atmosphere. For this we are asking members to pay £5 per head towards its costs with it being subsidised from club funds.
We do need bookings to cater for this. See below.

Booking
Bookings are only accepted from CCRC Members. If booking for the Prize Giving which includes lunch then following your booking you will receive instructions on how to pay the £5 per head. Once approved you will receive a booking confirmation by email.
- If the booking form does not appear below then it is past the booking deadline.
- Be sure to have all information for your yacht and crew before completing your booking.
- Mention any diet or allergy issues in the Comments box.
