Summary talk on Race Office RO/ Principal Race Officer PRO duties

Roles of the Race Officer and Principal Race Officer. Use of the Start Timetable and CCRC Marks List. How to do Rolling starts. Managing the race after the start. Course setting considerations.
We will be including a few fun sailing photos taken during 2024 races.
The talk will include a summary of the count down, the timings and typical communications. The talk and morning coffee are free.
Venue: Chichester Yacht Club, Chichester Marina, Birdham, Chichester, West Sussex, PO20 7EJ.
CYC have asked that everyone books for lunch by Tuesday 4 March on 01243 512918 option 2. Please state that you are attending the briefing and they will then seat everyone in the same area. The Sunday Carvery is £18.95 for a large and a regular is £16.95; there will be other menu options available on the day that are priced per dish.
Bookings are accepted from CCRC Members and other Clubs.
